Wisdom in Generations.
Hello Friend,
It’s so easy to get caught up in the next thing - rushing ahead with our calendars full and our minds racing. But I’ve been reminded of the richness that comes when we pause. When we sit down, take a breath, and just listen.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the quiet strength and beauty that lives in the women who’ve walked before us - grandmothers, mothers, mentors, even strangers whose lives have brushed ours in small but lasting ways.
There’s treasure in the stories these women carry. Wisdom tucked into wrinkles and laugh lines. A kind of deep faith - not loud or flashy - but tested, weathered, and handed down like a well-worn recipe.
That’s what I love most about what we’re building At Her Table. It’s more than just a gathering - it’s a place where that kind of wisdom can rise to the surface, where women of every age and season pull up a chair and find that they have something to give and something to receive.
Let’s keep gathering, you and me. Not just to catch up or tick a box, but to really see and hear each other. To slow down. To pass the bread and the stories. To remember that we’re never as alone as we think, and that everything we’re feeling has likely been felt before.
Here’s to long tables, deep roots, and the sacredness of sharing life.
With warmth and gratitude,
